Wrap-Around Services:
The Howpak Wrap-Around is a Charitable Trust, which has for the last six years been closely aligned to the local high schools,
Ministry of Social Development, CYF, Police Youth Aid and Youth Justice amongst other contributing agencies and community, by providing a number of intervention services.
These include:


Drug and alcohol, dependency and addiction services

Dual diagnosis (drug induced schizophrenia and paranoia)  service

Other mental health and teenage health issues

Family violence and abuse programmes

Conflict solution in separated and divorced families

Restorative conferencing for community healing for both   victim and perpetrator

The Howpak Wrap-Around is also ideally placed to facilitate work for migrant families and quota refugees.
Howpak Wrap-Around aims to:

Inspire youth and families to affect change in their lives

Facilitate and motivate youth to progress their      learning,

Offer students the opportunity to reflect on their actions and by so doing encourage improved       decision making,

Provide a challenging, fun learning environment which encourages the students and improves      attitudes towards learning,

Provide a sound academic programme, consistent with the New Zealand Core Curriculum to  enable the transition back into mainstream education, a TEC course or workplace learning.
