 President's Message

President Mike is recovering from shoulder surgery.

President Mike and the board are determined to create better communication into the future. Weekly Keyways will help achieve this goal however copy from directors as well as members is essential if we are to be successful. The latest Keyway has been formatted in a more newsy fashion however as time progresses you will see gradual changes hopefully for the better. Thank you for taking the trouble to read ALL of this bulletin.

Bookarama Report 2019
"Bookarama 2019.
Another great year for our annual fund-raiser! Despite the change of venue, and the delays in getting books in and sorted, we still managed to turnover $36,000, (down $3000) on last year’s record result. This should see about $28,000 being available for club projects this year.
The new venue at Somerville Intermediate School was our best ever, and resulted in many favourable comments on the layout. We hope that we can use this venue again next year.
The organising committee would like to thank all those members and spouses, who helped out before, during, and after Bookarama, as it was would not have been so successful without your help. A special vote of thanks goes out to John & Heather Savory for their tireless efforts throughout, and John Osborne, Geoff Thompson, and Gavin Green, for their contributions along the way."
