President's Message

Hello everyone

 

Thank you to all of you who attended last nights meeting.

Good venue, good company, good food. What more could a humble Rotarian ask for?

 

A very interesting talk from our guest speaker Chris Taylor on biking through Russia.

Not sure it would be my thing, I don’t think that I would have the stamina, oh and also one small problem, I can’t ride a bike.

 

Unfortunately we ran out of time for Colin to complete his presentation, but as many of you said that you would like to hear the complete story I have asked Malcom Pascoe to speak to David Fels to organise a time for Chris to come back and finish telling us about his trip.

 

Our numbers were boosted by our visitors, our very own Judy and Heather. Chris’s wife Jenny and his daughter Jackie and friends Carol, John and Peter Parkingson and Helen who I believe is over here from Liverpool.

 

We have a busy few months ahead with David Teaps Dine out in the Auckland Viaduct, the Brit and Euro Car Show on the 1^st of March and the Fun Run on the 15^th March. I am sure that we will hear more about theses and any other events in the Keyway.
