Greetings to you all
As a result of Bookarama there was no meeting this week.
There was an enormous amount of books collected and taken to the basement of Ray Whites in Uxbridge Road where they were sorted and boxed ready for transport to Somerville Intermediate School where the sale is being held. Once collecting was finished there was a wagon train of trailers, utes, cars etc moving everything to the school gymnasium.
The next process was setting up the tables then sorting the books into their different categories.
Once this was done the Gymnasium looked amazing, I am sure there are or will be many photographs of the whole thing.

Selling started on the Tuesday of our meeting and went very well and hopefully has set the scene for the rest of the week.
A big thank you to all of the people that have been involved so far and a big PLEASE to you all to assist in the clean up on Sunday afternoon.
The old adage “Many Hands Make Light Work” is so true on this occasion.
So if I don’t see you before I look forward to seeing you at our next meeting on Tuesday the 22nd of this month.
