The Rotary Club of Howick Inc.
Bookarama is one of the major Fundraising activities carried out by the Rotary Club of Howick. Books are taken to a number of collection centres around Howick and Pakuranga. Collections begin a couple of months before Bookarama, and held in storage. The event takes place at the end of September or early October, depending upon School holiday dates.
The venue for the past two years has been the Howick Intermediate School on the corner of Pakuranga and Botany Rd.
It is a very intense week, but a satiisfying result for all concerned. The generosity of the Public is much appreciated and is the cornerstone of this community event.
