Dale Burden Principal of Howick College was the clubs guest speaker at the last dinner meeting.
Dale has been in the teaching profession both in NZ and Australia for over 34 years, 25 of which have been in senior roles with Howick College being his 4th Principals position.
He spoke about the challenges that he and the profession now face with Colleges being large and complex organizations. It was an informative and thought provoking presentation.
